Rabbits love apples as they are sweet. In small portions, it is safe for rabbits. The fibre found in apples is beneficial to rabbits because they lack peristalsis, the involuntary muscle contractions push food through the digestive tracts of humans. Apples contain potassium which is important for your bunny as it can prevent hypokalemia.
Be aware that apple pips are poisonous and should not be given to rabbits. Always remove the core and seeds of apples before giving to rabbits.
